Here's Your At-Home Infield Drill Progression

 

💡 Coaching Notes:

To get the most out of this drill, don’t rush. Focus on quality of reps over quantity.

Start with Hand Presentation:

  • Hands should be out front, pinky-to-pinky

  • Present glove-hand as: “Fingers down, palm forward”

  • Think: “Showing the glove to the ball early” — not stabbing or flipping at it

Progressions:

  • Barehand First – Forces proper positioning and feel

  • Pancake Glove – Use an over-mitt or even a sandal if needed

  • Small Glove or Regular Glove – Maintain the clean fundamentals you just built

📌 Tip: You can rep this solo off a wall, or grab a parent, sibling, or teammate to help — quality time + reps!
